I love Zoe Chant's writing. She is a very good author and "A Werewofl's Valentine" is a very good example of that writing. She takes more than one story line and works it into a powerful book. I felt like there were actually more than two main characters in the book because of the story lines she had going on. Your reading the book and then you are laughing, crying, running (in your mind), cooking, ect.....you can't help but feel the emotions that are being felt in the book. I mean who besides McKenzi (main female character in the book) hates Valentine's Day? I highly recommend this book to anybody over the age of 18 because of the earth shattering sex!!!!!McKenzi Enkle is a cat shifter in a small town of shifters who gave up on love and Valentine's Day after she had too many break ups. So she has declared war on the holiday and anything to do with it. She was really upset after going into work and the owner had even decorated their aprons for Valentine's Day making McKenzi hate the day even more. Will she continue to hate the holiday when she waits on a handsome stranger at the Cafe?
West is a wolf shifter who drifts from town to town looking for his pack and his family. he never stayed in one town long. He would sing for food, fight to stay alive, and then move on. He was a singer-songwriter and had no intentions of staying in town very long until he met McKenzi. What was intended to be one night turned out to more as West and McKenzi started developing feelings for each other and he doesn't want to leave and she doesn't want him to go. When certain people (shifters) need help can McKenzi and West help them and possibly forge a pack of their own?

I love the Shifter books.
I liked reading this book.
Would have liked more at the end of it.
Not sure if theres going to be a next book with West and McKenzie. Hope so.
I really enjoy Zoe Chant's books. This one is of a lone wolf who doesn't stay in one place long and a cat who doesn't stay in relationships long. Both find each other and have awesome sexual chemistry. One thing leads to another and in the end it's HEA. It's a great story. Must read.
I have read several of Zoe Chant's books and find that most of them are kind of predictable and pedestrian. But occasionally she has a gem, and this one is one of them. The two main characters are well introduced and likable, the family and situation are believable, and the romance is sweet. I like it when two people fall in love without realizing it. The town and the other people could have used some more fleshing out, but maybe that was done in the first Upson Downs book (Target BillionBear) which I haven't read. I would read another book set in this shifter town, maybe one that lets Uncle Lee find a real mate, and lets us know how Nate's getting along.
I really enjoyed A Werewolf’s Valentine. It was well written, light and a nice story about finding a home and yourself. Two souls, both a little damaged in their own way, find each other and heal. It was sweet and while there is little that happened in terms of action or drama, I found myself glued to the pages. I love both the hero and heroines voices and recommend to paranormal romance fans.
What do you get when you take a woman who hates Valentines Day and doesn’t believe in love and a man who has never known love? Add in a few side stories that show how much love they really have in their lives that they do not recognize and you have a very good story. I LOVE Zoe Chant’s books and this story is one of her best.
Life without love is a slow killer. Life with love can lead to great heights. McKenzi and West will finally learn what love is and how they will never want to give it up. This is a sweet love story and it gives the reader a view of what is important in life. I totally recommend this book as it has all the elements you could want in a book such as a good storyline, believable characters with a few twists and turns to keep it interesting. Enjoy!
